Audition Video Competitions Guidelines

Unless explicit permission is given otherwise by Raas All-Stars Judging Chairs, the following rules apply for the judging chair and the audition video judging process:

1. The team selection and audition video viewing process for the competition must be completely blind and randomized. 

2. The judging chair (or whoever is randomizing audition videos if not them) may not be an audition video judge for the team selection process.

3. The judging chair and audition video judges should review all team guidelines, the rubric, and attend a required training before viewing audition videos.

4. The judging chair and audition video judges may not: - Be on a roster member of any raas-garba team (i.e., dancer, manager, or any other affiliation) in the 2025-2026 season - Be previously or currently affiliated with a team that has applied to that competition - Judge at any 2025-2026 bid competition or at Raas All-Stars XVIII

5. Audition video judges and judging chairs are not allowed to disclose any information about teams’ audition videos or other sensitive information to anyone.

6. An audition video judge may only judge audition videos for 1 competition.

7. There must be exactly 5 audition video judges for a competition.
